Appeal for information - Stolen motorbike – Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police are appealing to members of the public for information in relation to a motorbike stolen from a property in Gillen last month.

Around 7:15am on February 26, the rider had dismounted the motorbike, parking it temporarily in front of a property on Tilmouth Court when it is alleged an unknown man stole the bike.

A member of the public’s dashboard camera captured the man riding without a helmet and travelling at excessive speeds on the stolen motorbike along Larapinta Drive around 7:40am.

The stolen motorbike is a red and white MV Agusta F3 800 with NT registration F3RCC8.

The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, with a large build, shaved head and at the time of the incident was wearing grey short sleeved shirt, jeans and white sneakers.

Police are calling for anyone who may have information in relation to the whereabouts of the bike or recent sightings, to contact them on 131 444 or report it anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 and reference PROMIS number 9230723.
