Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service advise the continuation of a watch and act for properties at Kalano Community to Emungalan Road industrial estate area.

This area remains under threat with winds of 20 to 40km per hour.

Multiple NTFRS and Bushfires NT crews are on scene continuing to suppress a number of fires.  Losses of hay stacks, and old vehicles parked in unmaintained yards have been reported.  There are no confirmed loss of structures at this time.

Residents in this vicinity are to continue with their Fire Safety Plans. 

For the safety of firefighting crews and other vehicles, drivers in the area are urged to slow down, turn on headlights and drive safely for the conditions. Obey any directions of emergency services personnel.
