Update - Call for Information - Robbery - Nightcliff

Police want to speak to the driver of a small red car, other witnesses and obtain any private footage.

Detectives from Strike Force Trident are investigating a series of assaults that commenced near the Nightcliff Foreshore Café at about 6.45pm on Tuesday, 1 October 2019.

Three offenders were arrested in Rapid Creek at about 8.30pm.

The driver of a small red car that was approached by a young male on Casuarina Drive is urged to contact police as a witness.  The driver of the vehicle, slammed his car door on this male and fled the scene.  This person can assist the investigation.

Detectives would also like to speak to any other persons that witnessed assault incidents on the Nightcliff foreshore and Rapid Creek on Tuesday evening. 

Investigators also seek footage from private CCTV, mobile phones or vehicle dash cameras of incidents on the Nightcliff foreshore, Casuarina Drive and Rapid Creek areas from 6.00pm to 8.30pm Tuesday, 1 October 2019. 

Detectives ask people to review private footage taken during this period, and anything suspicious or of interest, contact police.

Three youths remain in custody. Detectives continue to gather evidence and interview witnesses.
