Northern Territory Police have arrested a member of the Rebels Outlaw Motorcycle Gang following an incident in Brisbane on 4 February 2019. The Gang member is alleged to be the President of the Rebels Logan Chapter who travelled to Darwin yesterday.
In consultation with the Queensland Police Task Force Maxima, and the AFP National Anti-Gangs Task-Force, NT Police Gangs Task Force officers apprehended the 32-year-old man at a Darwin hotel early this morning.
This coincides with a large number of interstate members of the Rebels OMCG travelling to Darwin in recent days.
An application to extradite the man to Brisbane to faces charges will be made in the Darwin Local Court at 2:00pm today.
