Strike Force Trident and Palmerston General Duty members have arrested five youths in relation to a crime series which occurred throughout Greater Darwin and Batchelor overnight.

The youths committed a series of offences including stealing two motor vehicles, traffic and property offences.

A blue Kia Sorrento and a white Mitsubishi Lancer have been recovered.

Police efforts continue to locate a further youth in relation to these offences.

Charges are expected to be laid against the five youths in custody later today.

A police operation is ongoing in the vicinity of Finn Road, Cox Peninsular.

Complex investigations are continuing into the numerous offences identified in multiple locations.
