The Northern Territory road toll has risen to three following a single vehicle crash.
The crash occurred on the Stuart Highway near Cox Peninsula Road around 2:00pm this afternoon.
Five occupants were travelling in the vehicle heading south. Sadly a woman was ejected from the vehicle when it rolled over and she passed away at the scene.
Four other occupants were conveyed to Royal Darwin Hospital including two with serious injuries.
Initial investigations suggest that alcohol and speed contributed to the crash.
Investigations are continuing.
