Northern Territory Police have charged a 19-year-old female with traffic offences

On Monday, 2 January, an off duty police officer observed a vehicle driving erratically in Pinelands. The vehicle was unable to be apprehended at the time.

On Thursday, 10 January, police located the vehicle in Palmerston. The driver was arrested following a short pursuit.

She has been charged with:

• Drive unregistered/uninsured motor vehicle
• Drive motor vehicle unsafe to drive

She is was bailed to appear in Darwin Local Court on 22 January.
