Today, detectives from the Serious Crime Section and the Territory Response Group arrested a 33-year-old male in relation to an assault with a firearm.

On Thursday 7 November 2019, the male attended a residence at Malak and pointed a firearm in the direction of residents before decamping the area. All parties were known to each other and no one was injured.

The male has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault, one count of armed with an offensive weapon, and possess firearm without a licence. He has been refused bail by police.
