Northern Territory Police have charged a 29-year-old male following an alleged aggravated assault.
The incident occurred around midnight on 6 January. It is believed the male approached the victim’s residence where he hit the 23-year-old victim then stabbed him multiple times.
The male fled from the residence and was arrested by police a short time later.
The victim was admitted to Gove District Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
The 29-year-old was charged with:
- Aggravated Assault
- Recklessly Endangering Life
- Possess/Carry/Use/Controlled Weapon – Night
He is due to appear in Darwin Local Court tomorrow.
