Police

NT Police are calling for witnesses in relation to a stolen motor vehicle incident overnight in Alice Springs.

“The vehicle was being driven in a very dangerous manner, almost striking pedestrians and also being driven directly at police members,” Superintendent Vicary said.

“As a result of a coordinated response by police, which included the deployment of tyre deflation devices, the offenders stopped the vehicle on Glass Street, Sadadeen and fled on foot.

“Several police, along with police dog, Loki, attended the area and apprehended three youths. However, another three offenders remain outstanding.
