The Northern Territory Police Force are seeking public assistance to locate three males who fled on foot after being involved in a pursuit which has ended near Batchelor this afternoon.

The vehicle, a white Mitsubishi Canter Truck, is believed to have been stolen from a commercial premises in Mander Road Pinelands, around 2:00pm today.

A member of the public reported the vehicle driving erratically on the Arnhem Highway near the intersection of the Stuart Highway just before 3:00pm.

Police sighted and pursued the vehicle along the Stuart Highway, Batchelor Road and Litchfield Park Road. The males abandoned the vehicle on Litchfield Park Road and were last seen fleeing on foot into nearby scrubland. The vehicle has since been recovered.

At last sighting, one male is described as wearing a white shirt with grey shorts, another wearing black shorts, dark multi-coloured shirt with a black cap.
