Northern Territory Police are seeking assistance from the public after the Bendigo Bank on Katherine Terrace, Katherine, was unlawfully entered between 4.30am and 5.00am this morning.

An unknown person walked from the vicinity of Ryan Park to the Bendigo Bank where they entered the bank by smashing a glass panel on the front door. Once inside, the person stolen money from the ATM.

Police are particularly interested in information about a male person seen in the area between 4.00am and 5.00am. He is described as male, approximately 5’10”, and was wearing dark long pants and a dark coloured jacket with a hood worn over his head. When exiting the bank, the male was carrying a container similar to the one in the attached picture. The person was last seen walking toward Ryan Park on Katherine Terrace.
