Northern Territory Police are calling for information in relation to an alleged aggravated assault that occurred on 24 December 2019, in Darwin City.

At some time between 8:30pm and 10:20pm on 24 December 2019, a 45-year-old female was alleged assaulted on Gardens Road, Darwin City.

The alleged assault was reported to police at 8:42pm by a member of the public. Police responded but did not locate an alleged victim or offender at this time. Later reports were received in relation to an unconscious female who had sustained significant head wounds.

Detectives from Sex Crimes Division believe these incidents are related and are seeking information which may assist with police enquiries.
