Northern Territory Police have arrested a youth in relation to a number of unlawful entries and a stolen motor vehicle in Alice Springs.
Detectives from Strike Force WINX arrested the 14-year-old youth at a Sadadeen home and charged him in relation to the following incidents;
- The unlawful entry of a Sadadeen home on June 25 where several items including the car keys to an Isuzu D-Max utility were stolen. It is alleged the vehicle was involved in a service station drive off. The vehicle has not been recovered.
- The unlawful entry of an East Side residence between July 4 and July 8, where two mobile phones were stolen.
- Stealing a bank card from a wallet in the change rooms at a sports oval on Larapinta on July 13. It is alleged the 14-year-old used the bank card of the victim at various locations around Alice Springs.
The youth will appear before the Alice Springs Youth Justice Court on July 29 charged with;
2 x Unlawful entry
1 x Damage to property
3 x Stealing
3 x Obtain benefit by deception
1 x Aggravated unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
