Alice Springs escapee located

A 23-year-old male who escaped from the Reintegration Accommodation Facility at the Alice Springs Correctional Centre on 14 November 2019 has been located. Queensland Police apprehended the male in Mount Isa on 7 December.

Police continue to search for the remaining escapee, 24-year-old Grant Moore. He is described as an Indigenous male, 160 centimetres tall, and has ‘GP’ tattooed on his forearm. Northern Territory Police believe he may still be in the vicinity of Mount Isa.

Police believe the two escapees travelled to Mount Isa in a vehicle which was stolen from an Alice Springs residence on 28 November 2019. The vehicle is a 2016 silver Toyota Hilux utility with Northern Territory registration GC. An image of a similar vehicle is below.
