The Alcohol Policing Unit have stopped a quantity of alcohol from entering an alcohol protected area in Darwin.

Police apprehended a 25-year-old male inside the community and conducted a search of the vehicle. A quantity of alcohol amounting to approximately 80 standard drinks was located.

Subsequently, the liquor and vehicle were seized by police. The man has been issued with a notice to appear in court for bring liquor into alcohol protected area.
