Vehicle Crash - Wadeye

Police

Police attended a single vehicle roll over on a dirt track just outside the community of Wadeye around 10:00am on Saturday, 21 April.

The force of the crash resulted in the roof of the vehicle being crushed against tree. The 32-year-old driver and a 35-year-old passenger were transported to RDH for treatment and a 44-year-old passenger was taken to the local clinic with minor injuries.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing but preliminary information suggests that alcohol may have been a contributing factor.
