Northern Territory Police have located and arrested a 26-year-old male after he escaped from Darwin Correctional Facility last week.

The male was apprehended by members of Strike Force Trident at a residence in Woodroffe this morning without incident.

A 28-year-old female was issued with a notice to appear for harbouring an escaped prisoner.
