Police are investigating the unlawful entry to a number of businesses in the Winnellie area overnight.

Police were alerted to the unlawful entries and damage to buildings around 4:15 this morning.

A white twin cab utility was seen in the area around the same time and Police believed it may have been the same vehicle stolen from the Woodroffe area the previous night.

The vehicle is described as a 2015 White Ford Ranger Utility with Northern Territory registration 829 029 and Electrical Trade Union / Sidchrome Tool Stickers on its aluminium tray

The Trident team are investigating these incidents.

The public are asked to be on the lookout for the vehicle and also to ring Police on 131444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 if they have any information or saw a white utility acting suspiciously in the Winnellie area on Sunday morning.
