Members from Strikeforce Trident responded to reports of a disturbance at a service station in Nightcliff around six o’clock this morning.

Multiple units attended and found that the store had been entered by a number of individuals armed with weapons. The individuals caused significant damage to the store and assaulted a staff member and a member of the public who attempted to intervene.

The offenders left the scene after stealing a number of items from the store.

Three males are currently assisting police with their enquiries. Investigations are ongoing.
