A 14-year-old female has been arrested following a robbery in Sadadeen earlier today.

Northern Territory Police received a report just after 6:30am that the youth threatened a woman with a weapon before physically assaulting and and stealing her vehicle.

Members by Strike Force WINX arrested the girl shortly after.

The victim was treated at the scene by St Johns Ambulance for minor injuries.

The victim and girl are known to each other. No one else was injured during the incident.

The girl has been arrested and is expected to be charged later today.
