The 30-year-old male who escaped from Darwin Correctional Centre on Saturday night has been arrested by Northern Territory Police.

Officers from Strike Force Trident located the male at a Coconut Grove address earlier this morning.

The male was treated with some minor dog bite injuries he sustained during the arrest.
