Northern Territory Police have located a 19-year-old male who was reported missing yesterday.

The male was visiting Edith Falls (Leliyn) with a small group when he wandered off around 10:00am.

Police, park rangers and Northern Territory Emergency Service searched the area by foot and helicopter yesterday and ceased the search at dark. The search was recommenced today at first light.

The male was located this morning safe and well in an area above the main pool. He was medically assessed onsite before being transferred to Katherine District Hospital for review.
