Missing Person – Larrimah – Update #4

Police

Detectives from Darwin and Katherine continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of Patrick ‘Paddy’ Moriarty.

Mr Moriarty was last seen at the Larrimah Hotel at 6:00pm on Saturday 16 December 2017. A comprehensive land and air search has not found any sign of Mr Moriarty or his dog Kellie.

Detectives would like to speak with anyone who may have information about a vehicle, or the driver, of a Mitsubishi Delica van.

Police believe the van was in Larrimah from early December to around 21 December.

Detective Sergeant Matthew Allen said the driver or any person who has information about this vehicle may be able to assist with the investigation.

Finding Mr Moriarty remains our top priority, someone out there has information that can help us find Paddy and we urge them to come forward.”

Mr Moriarty is described as Caucasian, 70 years of age, medium build with tanned appearance, around 178cm tall with short black/grey hair and a moustache. He was wearing dark-coloured shorts, singlet, thongs and a baseball style cap. It is possible he was in company with a red kelpie named ‘Kellie.’

Anyone with information is urged to notify police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 to assist police with their enquiries.
