NT Police detectives are investigating the death of an 18-year-old woman in Numbulwar.

Officer in Charge of the Major Crime Squad, Senior Sergeant Matt Allen, said the woman’s body was discovered shortly before 7.00am this morning.  

“A crime scene was declared and detectives from the Major Crime Squad travelled to Numbulwar from Darwin to undertake an investigation,” Senior Sergeant Allen said.  

“At this stage the cause of death is unclear and police are making enquiries to determine the circumstances surrounding it.”
