Charges - Unlawful Entry - Darwin

Northern Territory Police have charged a 22-year-old male in relation to an unlawful entry in Berrimah on 7 October 2018.

The male is alleged to have unlawfully entered and ransacked the location. It is believed he unsuccessfully attempted to gain entry to a safe which caused extensive damage. He is then alleged to have stolen keys which were used to take a quad bike valued at $12,000.

The bike was recovered after being crashed and rolled.

Strike Force Trident officers arrested the man at a Berrimah location yesterday. He was located in the ceiling cavity of the residence.

He was charged with:

  • 2 x Unlawful Entry
  • 2 x Stealing
  • 1 x Unlawful Use Motor Vehicle
  • 1 x Criminal Damage

He is due to appear in Darwin Local Court today.
