Northern Territory Police Major Crime Detectives have charged a 34-year-old man following the death of a 29-year-old woman at a Palmerston home on Thursday night

The man has been charged with murder and engage in conduct that contravenes DVO and has been remanded in custody to appear in Darwin Local Court Monday October 8.

Detectives are continuing their investigation in relation to this matter and a file will be prepared for the Coroner.
