Strike Force Trident members have arrested a 59-year-old male for stealing and other offences.

On 29 May 2018 the male and a co-offender allegedly entered a location in Winnellie where they stole copper fitting and piping off cuts.

On 22 November the male and co-offender attended a location in Berrimah where they allegedly stole copper wire which was placed into two wheelie bins.

The stolen items were sold for a profit following both incidents.

On Tuesday 27 November the male was located at an address in The Narrows and arrested.

He has been charged with:

  • 2x trespass on enclosed premises
  • 2x stealing
  • 2x obtain benefit by deception
  • 1x breach or order for release on bond
