Charges – Attempted Murder – Malak

Northern Territory Police have charged a 36-year-old male with attempted murder following a violent incident in Malak.

Police received multiple phone calls in relation to a disturbance at a residence around 10:45pm on Wednesday, 28 November.

On arrival police located the alleged offender who was then arrested at the scene. He directed police to the victim who was at a neighbouring address.

Police attended the second location and found the unconscious 58-year-old male. St John Ambulance attended and the victim was conveyed to Royal Darwin Hospital with significant head injuries.

The Serious Crime Unit are investigating.
