Detectives from the Serious Crime Squad have charged a 27-year-old male after he allegedly stabbed two people last night.

At around 8:30 last night, police received reports of a physical altercation at a private gathering at a Moulden residence, resulting in two people receiving stab wounds.

General Duties officers attended quickly and arrested the alleged offender nearby.

Both victims have been treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The male has been charged with:

• 2 x Unlawfully Cause Serious Harm
• 1 x Aggravated Assault
