Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses in relation to an alleged attempted robbery yesterday evening.

The incident occurred around 7:00pm when an unknown male is believed to have entered a store in Driver armed with a knife.

Police allege the male demanded money from the store employee. The employee refused and the male was chased from the store by witnesses.

The male is described as Caucasian, wearing a high-vis yellow and blue work shirt, black cap, and a black bandana concealing his face.
