Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses to an alleged assault in Jingili last night.

At approximately 9pm, a 40-year-old female was walking on Seabright Crescent, Jingili, when a male approached from behind and assaulted her.  

A vehicle described as a silver sedan was seen in the area and police would like to speak with the occupants of this vehicle.

The alleged offender has been described as a young male, Aboriginal in appearance, about 160cm tall, of skinny build, with short black hair.
