Northern Territory Police are seeking information in relation to a theft which occurred at a Yarrawonga business between 5 - 7 January 2018.

Police believe approximately 50kg of lead and over 1000kg of copper wire valued between $5000 and $10,000 were stolen by as yet unidentified offenders.

Police are asking for witnesses or anyone with information to contact police on 131 444 or anonymously on Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

In particular police are interested in hearing from any metal recyclers and urge them to report any unusual transactions with large amounts of copper and lead.
