Members of Strike Force Trident have arrested four youths in relation to property offences.

It is believed that three of the alleged offenders broke into a residence in Nightcliff and stole a vehicle yesterday morning. Police say the youths used the vehicle to break into two businesses in Noonamah and Virginia. A quantity of alcohol and cigarettes was stolen from the businesses.

Trident members later arrested the three youths at a residence in Coconut Grove. A search warrant was conducted and the stolen property from Nightcliff, Noonamah, and Virginia was recovered.

A fourth youth was also arrested in relation to four unlawful entries in Stuart Park the previous weekend.

Two of the youths have been charged and two have been released for juvenile diversion.
