Northern Territory Police have arrested a 41-year-old male for drink driving.
Around 12:30 this morning, police received reports of a possible drunk driver driving recklessly in Nauiyu Community.
Police located the male in a defected vehicle and conducted a breath analysis check which returned a result of 0.266. Police allege the man was driving disqualified due to a prior drink driving incident in June.
Further investigations will be conducted in relation to allegations the male drove into a closed community fence and a sign at the local oval.
He was charged with high range drink driving, drive disqualified, and drive defected motor vehicle.
He is due to appear in Darwin Local Court today.
