Police

Northern Territory Police are investigating two unlawful entries in Alice Springs.

It’s believed between 2am and 3:30am yesterday, a home at East Side was unlawfully entered. A money tin containing approximately $1500, consisting mainly of 20 and 50 dollar notes in cash was reported stolen. The money tin was found discarded outside a neighbouring property.

Police would like anyone who may have information relating to these two thefts to come forward, particularly if they have seen a box described as a Marble Hill 10 litre Spring Water box that may have been taken from the Larapinta home.

Retailers are also asked to be on the lookout for and report anyone paying for items with large quantities of gold coins.
