Northern Territory Police Crime Division is investigating an incident that occurred around 10pm last night at a Darwin residence.

A 51-year-old male was conveyed to Royal Darwin Hospital by St John Ambulance after suffering multiple stab wounds.

A 52-year-old male is currently in custody assisting with enquiries.
