Youths Charged – Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police have charged three male youths for an unlawful entry in Alice Springs.

Detective Acting Superintendent Peter Dash said the offenders were allegedly involved in an unlawful entry to a business on the Stuart Highway on 25 May around 9:00pm.

“The offenders were located a short time later in possession of a number of stolen items and were arrested,” he said.

A 16-year-old was charged with:

  • Unlawful entry – building (x2)
  • Damage to property (x2)
  • Stealing (x2)
  • Breach of bail.

A 15-year-old was charged with:

  • Unlawful entry – building
  • Damage to property
  • Stealing
  • Breach of bail.

They will appear in Alice Springs Local Court today.

A second 15-year-old will be considered for youth diversion.
