Northern Territory Police have charged a 17-year-old youth in relation to a ram raid in Alice Springs on 6 January.
Detective Senior Sergeant Allan Milner said the male was arrested yesterday.
“Police allege that on 5 January, he stole a Ford Ranger from a caravan park in Alice Springs,” he said.
“It is further alleged that the offender, in the company of others, drove the car into a business in Alice Springs on 6 January, before fleeing the scene.”
He was charged with:
- Unlawful use of motor vehicle
- Unlawful entry
- Stealing
- Criminal damage
He was remanded in custody to appear in the Alice Springs Youth Court today.
