Youth Charged – Unlawful Entries – Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police have charged a 16-year-old male following a series of property crimes in Alice Springs on 15 and 16 January 2017.

Detective Superintendent Michael White said that the youth allegedly unlawfully entered three properties.

“On 15 January, the offender unlawfully entered a business on Kennett Court, with co-offenders,” he said.

“Shortly after the group unlawfully entered a business on Schwarz Crescent, stealing a quantity of alcohol.

“On 16 January, the offender along with co-offenders, entered a business on the North Stuart Highway.

“He was arrested yesterday morning.”

He was charged with:

  • Unlawful entry - building (x3)
  • Damage Property (x3)
  • Stealing (x3)

He was remanded in custody to appear in the Alice Springs Local Youth Court today.
