Northern Territory Police have charged a 13-year-old male for a rock throwing assault in Alice Springs.

“The offender allegedly threw a rock at a taxi, injuring a 9-year-old passenger,” he said.

He was charged with:

• Recklessly endangering life – aggravated
• Damage to property
• Endanger occupants of vehicles or vessels

The 13-year-old will be considered for the youth diversion program.
