Members from Strike Force Winx have charged a 14-year-old male for damage to property in Alice Springs.

Detective Senior Sergeant Peter Malley alleged the offender was one of a group involved in an incident at a car yard on the Stuart Highway yesterday.

The youth was charged with:

• Damage to property (x52)

He was remanded in custody to appear in the Alice Springs Local Court today.

An 11-year-old male has been interviewed by police and has been released to be considered for youth diversion.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
