NT Police are currently searching for an overdue party from Canteen Creek, Central Australia.

Senior Sergeant Michael Potts said the party, believed to consist of seven occupants, left Canteen Creek on 16 January.

“The party were travelling in a white Toyota Troop Carrier and were last seen around 1:00pm,” he said.

“It is believed that they were headed south towards Atheley Station near Arlparra.

“This area has recently received significant rainfall and Police hold concerns for their safety.

“If anyone has seen or heard from the travellers please contact Police on 131 444 and quote reference number 8050494.”
