Northern Territory Police have extradited a 29-year-old man from South Australia to face serious harm charges.

The man was allegedly involved in an aggravated assault in Alice Springs in November 2014.

Detective Superintendent Michael White said that the man was charged with similar offences in South Australia and was released from a correctional centre on 14 March 2017.

He is due to appear in the Alice Springs Local Court today.
