Northern Territory Police have charged a 26-year-old man for stealing in Alice Springs.
Detective Acting Superintendent Peter Dash said that the alleged offender unlawfully entered a residence in Alice Springs on Monday 17 July.
“The offender stole various items including a credit card,” he said.
“At about 1:30am and 1:50am on Tuesday morning, the offender used the credit card and made transactions totalling $392.
“The offender was arrested by members of Strike Force Winx on Wednesday.”
The man was charged with:
- Unlawful entry
- Stealing
- Obtain benefit by deception (x8)
He will appear in the Alice Spring Local Court today.
