Detectives from Strike Force Winx have charged a 24-year-old male for stealing in Alice Springs.

Detective Senior Sergeant Peter Malley said the incident occurred on Thursday 14 December.

“The offender allegedly stole $200 from a victim who withdrew the money from an ATM at a shopping centre,” he said.

He was remanded in custody to appear in the Alice Springs Local Court today.
