Northern Territory Police have charged a 17-year-old male following a domestic incident in Alice Springs on 12 July.
Detective Senior Sergeant Allan Milner said the youth was arrested yesterday.
“It is alleged the offender assaulted a 15-year-old female with a stick and a rock,” he said.
“She was treated for head injuries at the Alice Springs Hospital.”
The youth was charged with:
- Engage in conduct that contravenes DVO
- Aggravated assault
- Threats to kill
He was remanded in custody to appear in the Alice Spring Local Court on 28 July.
