Major Fraud Squad detectives have charged a 51-year-old man with 25 counts of stealing following an investigation.

Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Justin Bentley said police will allege the man stole $569,068 from a business where he was a co-owner.

“The investigation was a significant operation for our detectives and the man was charged this morning,” he said.

The man will appear in the Darwin Local Court tomorrow, 28 March 2017.
