Northern Territory Police have charged three people with five counts of criminal deception following an investigation into false work orders.
Serious Crime Squad Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Glenn Leafe said a 40-year-old man allegedly created false work orders to be carried out by his co-accused, a 27-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man.
The trio were arrested during a search warrant on 2 May. Police estimate they fraudulently obtained more than $30,000.
Investigations are continuing and further charges are expected to be laid.
They were all bailed to appear in Darwin Local Court on 30 May.
