Northern Territory Police have recovered one of the firearms stolen from a home in Bakewell last week.

“Investigators have recovered the Remington bolt-action rifle from a park in Karama,” Detective Senior Sergeant Rob Jordan from Strike Force Trident said.

“A small amount of ammunition was also recovered.”

Enquiries into the whereabouts of the Beretta 12-guage over-under shotgun are continuing.

Anyone who has any information on the whereabouts of the shotgun should contact police immediately on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
